Finalist and highly commended in the Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action category at the BMJ 2020 awards

At the 12th Annual British Medical Journal awards 2020 (link), the OHBP was selected as a finalist and highly commended in the Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action category for work between NHS Highland and the Alliance for Water Stewardship at Caithness General Hospital.

In such a challenging year, the BMJ awards recognised the extraordinary and innovative work of healthcare teams across the UK. The showcase featured doctors and their clinical colleagues talking about their collaborations to improve services in a wide range of settings across the NHS and healthcare. This was an exciting opportunity to hear from teams as they discuss their winning projects; the problems they faced, how the project developed, and the impact and outcomes the projects have had.
