We are recruiting NHS Scotland prescribers for a study exploring awareness of pharmaceutical pollution in the environment, and sustainable prescribing methods to reduce the environmental impact of medicines. This research is carried out by OHBP partners from NHS Highland and the Environmental Research Institute (University of the Highlands and Islands) with the the University of Nottingham. It is part of the UKRI Medical Research Council and Scottish Water funded project “Developing frameworks for eco-directed sustainable prescribing“.

Prescribers in Scotland are invited to register interest in an online focus group lasting a maximum of 1.5 hours, to be held on Aug 22 and 24, 18:00 – 19:30 (interested individuals are asked to select one session when registering). The focus group will be facilitated by researchers at the University of Nottingham, and transcribed and thematically analysed.
