We are recruiting volunteers for a public focus group on Friday April 21, at the Centre for Health Sciences – UHI Raigmore hospital site (Inverness). See more at the UHI event page.
OHBP partners from NHS Highland and the Environmental Research Institute-UHI are taking part in a UKRI funded study to understand the environmental impact of healthcare practices and sustainable ways to reduce it, with the University of Nottingham.
Members of the public (consenting adults aged 18 years+) in the Inverness are invited to volunteer for a focus group lasting a maximum of 2 hours, including breaks and tea/coffee/snacks. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. The focus group will explore public awareness of pollution in the environment from medicines, and sustainable prescribing methods to reduce pollution.
If you are interested in being involved, please contact Dr Lydia Niemi (lydia.niemi@uhi.ac.uk).
This research is carried out by NHS Highland, the University of the Highlands and Islands, and the University of Nottingham. It is funded by the UKRI Medical Research Council and Scottish Water.
